What is Cobalt-Chrome?

Cobalt-Chrome powders (Stellite, for example), originally developed for aircraft engines and heat-resistant materials, also provide excellent strength and toughness, and wear and corrosion resistance. In AM, these powders find use in gas turbines and other high-temperature applications, as well as in medical and dental applications.
