Lutz Labisch Named President and
CEO of Trumpf Inc.
Trumpf has named Lutz Labisch presi- dent and CEO of Trumpf Inc., effective March 1. He will be responsible for pro- duction, sales and service of Trumpf’s machine-tool and laser-technology prod- uct portfolio in North America and for the strategy and business operations at Trumpf subsidiaries throughout the Unit- ed States. He also will oversee the firm’s operations in Mexico, Canada and Brazil.
Labisch brings nearly 20 yr. of experi- ence in the machine-tool industry, including 6 yr. at Trumpf where he has worked in various finance and manage- ment positions. He helped develop Trumpf’s Smart Factory strategy, and his efforts paved the way to rebuild the Connecticut production facilities dam-
aged by a tragic plane crash in Septem- ber 2021.
AMGTA Grows to 40 Members, Adds Höganäs as Founding Member
The Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association (AMGTA), which pro- motes the environmental benefits of AM, announced new memberships that bring the association’s active member roster to 40. This includes powder provider Höganäs, which has joined as a Found- ing Member.
Joining the AMGTA as Participating Members: Arkema, provider of high-per- formance materials for 3D printing; Flam3D, an independent platform for stakeholders active in AM in Belgium and the Netherlands; Massivit 3D, provider of high-speed, large-scale 3D printing systems; and the UK National Centre for Additive Manufacturing, based at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry, England.

Fabrisonic has announced the addi- tion of Dr. Jason Riley as the company’s chief operating officer. A veteran U.S. Marine Corps officer with a doctorate in Theology, Riley entered the advanced- manufacturing
world in 2018,
when he joined

Inc., where he
managed daily
and long-range
operations for
the NASA-spin-
off company,
which specializes in amorphous metal injection molding, AM and high-preci- sion machining. He was promoted to chief operating officer and led the com- pany until joining Fabrisonic.
