Spee3d Adds Infocus Laser Systems as Brazil ResellerFebruary 1, 2021
Spee3d has signed an agreement with Infocus Laser Systems where Infocus will serve as a reseller of Spee3d metal-additive manufacturing (-AM) machines in Brazil.
Within the last five years, Infocus, based in Sao Paulo, has added a focus on the AM market for various industries. The addition of Spee3d technology now enables Infocus to offer cold-spray AM technology, including sales, installation, training and service.“Spee3d’s metal-AM process using supersonic jets of metal powder applied onto a substrate is a fascinating idea.” says Welodimer Neustadter Jr., who leads Infocus. “It got my attention as a one-of-a-kind technology to improve the speed and cost at which metal parts can be made. We are excited to take the next step in promoting this technology and its benefits in Brazil.”
